The Ultimate Guide to
TABLE SAW ALIGNMENT

Privacy Policy

I will never sell, barter, rent, or disclose your email address to any unauthorized third party without first obtaining express permission from you. Period.

How I gather information from users

I receive three types of information from visitors to tablesawalignment.com.  First, there is information that you supply when you register.  I save this information using the forms and database provided by AWeber Communications.  This creates a mailing list that allows me to send messages to members announcing new articles.  I transfer this information to AuthPro.com, who provides the mechanism for controlled (password protected) access to tablesawalignment.com.  Both of these companies have very strict privacy and anti-spam policies.

The second type of information is the contributions (comments) that you volunteer (type in) as a participant of the blog or that you send to me in email.  Access to this information is password protected (by the login procedure for the blog or for my email inbox).  Only registered users of tablesawalignment.com will have access to your comments.  Only I have access to the content of your email messages.  I will not share any of this information with anyone else without first obtaining your permission.

The third type of information is automatically collected by the web server software.  This information is stored in a log file and retrieved by me to determine activity levels, topics of interest, usage patterns, etc.  Generally, this information does not personally identify particular users.

What I do with the information I collect

Registration information is used for two purposes.  First, it controls access to the blog.  Only people who have registered will have access.  This prevents spammers from coming in and posting their advertising as comments to articles.  Second, I use this information to send email messages to members announcing new articles.

Member contributed information is used to help me to build the best possible repository of information about table saw use and alignment.  Not only are the comments themselves instructive, but they give me opportunities to elaborate on topics and get new ideas for new articles.  These comments are automatically shared with all other members of the web site, but I will not make them publicly available without your express permission.

Aggregated Information (information that does not personally identify you) may be used in many ways. For example, I may combine information about your usage patterns with similar information obtained from other users to help enhance my site and services (e.g., to learn which pages are visited most or what features are most attractive).

I may also use Personally Identifiable Information for other purposes, including but not limited to site administration, troubleshooting, and other communications with you. Certain third parties who provide technical support for the operation of my site (the Web hosting service for example) may have access such information. Even though this activity is beyond my control, I expect these third parties to honor the terms of their own privacy policies and practices. I will use your information only as permitted by law. I may also disclose your information in response to a court order and at other times when I believe I am reasonably required to do so by law, in connection with  law enforcement authorities whenever I deem it appropriate or necessary. Please note I may not provide you with notice prior to disclosure in such cases.
